CNC / Edgebanding Machine Operator
- Location - Glasgow, MO
- Full-Time
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC routers and edgebanding machines to produce high-quality cabinet components to specification.
- Load and unload materials, monitor machine operation, and adjust settings as needed for optimal performance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, cut lists, and work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy before moving them to the next stage of production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Report any machine malfunctions or material issues to the supervisor immediately.
Required Skills
- Proficient in operating CNC routers and edgebanders.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Familiarity with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Homag, or SCM CNC and edgebanding equipment.
- Understanding of cabinet construction methods and woodworking terminology.
- Knowledge of basic programming and setup for CNC machinery.
- Forklift certification or experience handling sheet goods.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of experience operating CNC and/or edgebanding machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
